Grand Harbor Inn

My husband and I recently returned from a week’s stay in Camden at The Grand Harbor Inn. We have traveled to Maine before but hadn’t gone farther north than the Portland area. We could not have been happier with the choice of staying in Camden (such a quaint town and centrally located with regards to visiting Acadia and other neighboring towns). The Grand Harbor Inn is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The Inn itself is right on the harbor. Our suite was set back a bit, but we still had a beautiful view. Our room was comfortable, spacious, clean and very well appointed. The staff were all very kind and welcoming and the complimentary breakfast (several choices brought to your room at your chosen time) was delicious. There are several great restaurants and cute shops within easy walking distance. We highly recommend!

This beautiful hotel was a perfect place to celebrate or 30th wedding anniversary. Our room was large and beautifully furnished. The bed was comfortable and the view from our balcony was spectacular!! Breakfast in our room each morning was such a delicious treat. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The location was wonderful as well, easy walking to everything in town. If we are fortunate enough to visit Camden again, this is where we'll be staying!!

We had one of the waterview suites. Beautiful views. Service was top notch. Staff was super friendly. Denise (if I recall correctly) was so kind and helpful. Our housekeeper even left us a note with suggestions of things to do with our kids. Everything in Camden is within walking distance. Breakfast was provided and was delicious. Easy parking (and free). Highly recommend. Will be back.

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being best, I would rate the Grand Harbor Inn as a 10+. One of the nicest Inns I have stayed in in recent years. Location is is right on the waterfront, staff is first rate, and the accommodations are great.

Outstanding waterfront inn in downtown Camden. Everything is 1st class from the heated bathroom floor to the 7 nozel shower and super soft linens. The included breakfast delivered to your room is an added bonus!

Our weekend stay at the Grand Harbor Inn was exactly the quiet luxury I was looking for. Friendly staff, tastefully decorated rooms, gorgeous views of Penobscot Bay, delicious breakfast both mornings and a charming coastal town made the weekend a perfect combination of relaxation and entertainment. Don’t miss the homemade cookies in the lobby and the handwritten card left in your room every day, these thoughtful touches put the Grand Harbor in a class of its own.

What a perfect place to stay! First, the communication was impeccable. We were later arriving than anticipated and received a text to make sure we were ok. Emma, with Guest Services, let us know which restaurants would still be open when we arrived. Second, the rooms are very spacious, yet cozy. The fireplace and balcony were nice touches. Lastly, in room breakfast delivery was great. The staff delivering it each morning was cheerful and attentive. If we are ever in this area again, we will definitely be staying at Grand Harbor Inn!

The hotel is in a perfect location at the waterfront. The well-appointed rooms are especially enjoyable with the jacuzzi tub and gas fireplace. The morning breakfast delivered to your room is a joy to start the day. Th staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We completely enjoyed our stay and look forward to an opportunity to come back to this area.
